Why you should get to know me...


Because I listened to the entire 2 hour and 15 minute commentary on the making of Van Helsing while I was painting my room. I'm really, really wishing I had "borrowed" Underworld when I was pawing through jjwright55's dvds. I have no idea how I'm going to get the vaulted part of the walls painted. You can see the limit of how high I can reach with my existing ladder .

But the color is coming out nicely. It's bluer than this image shows, at least on my laptop. It's called "cold water." There are still some places where I need to get a second coat of paint on, but the vast majority is finished.

Mmm, I LOVE that blue color (especially with the white trim), but I'm sorry - that brass ceiling fan needs to be replaced.

Yeah, I second the comment above--the blue with the white looks lovely. It's a very happy blue.

The downstairs has ugly brass fixtures everywhere. Almost all the lights need to be replaced. The funny thing is, the house has central a/c that everyone tells me I have to keep running so it will dehumidify the house. When would you even use those ceiling fans? One of the guys here at work is going to teach me how to change my own fixtures and how to wire up my own plugs. Those round, beige ones are soon to be replaced with white square ones. But he told me to get the painting done first.

The blue is really nice. It is really going to change the feeling of your home. Underworld will be in the mail tomorrow (maybe today).
