Sound Supply has become my only connection to new music these days. That is, but for sound supply I wouldn't even have that little bit bringing new music into my life. I like them so much I signed up for their year subscription. Every few weeks I get a new bundle and then every few months I randomly add things to my shuffle so I can listen when I run. The bad thing is I never know what I'm listening to so when I find something I like I couldn't possibly tell you who it is. And by "new" I mean anything later than the early aughts. Before then I used to 1) drive and 2) hang out with grad students. And because the cost is so low, I find it easy to just say "yes" to stuff I would never have time for otherwise.

If you have an iPhone with you when you run you can always use Shazam or Soundhound to identify what's playing when you hear it. I've found so many great bands that way when I listen to my favorite college station streaming.
