Cookie Monitor should be my new calling in life

My stint as cookie monitor at choir practice last night was an unparalleled success! Luckily, I baked enough cookies. I was a little concerned when there was this mad rush of 30 women to the table and everyone started taking one of each kind. The mocha-chocolate-chocolate cookies were the most popular, of course. One woman came up and asked if she could take all the left overs. I smiled and nodded and in my head went "WHAA?" There were exactly 4 shortbread cookies left behind. I was really quite stunned at all the thanks and compliments I received. I mean, it was just a bunch of cookies. But I went home feeling really, really good that everyone liked my baking. :)
