I know a couple of people on my friends list are using VoIP. How is that working out for ya'll? Do you prefer it over standard phone service? Do you think it compares prices wise? Give me the scoop.
I have Vonage. It is the best thing I have ever done. The entire bill is cheaper than my local service used to be and the quality is fine. You'll love it. I have a cable connection.....I don't know if a DSL is a big enough pipe.
It's great.
I also put in an extra phone number with an 808 area code that I give to local people that I don't want to call me.
I use Speakeasy's VoIP, and it's pretty good. I save a lot of money, and free long distance within the US is great. It's got E911, too, so I'm covered just in case.
