My little noisy cat woke me up at 5:30 this morning to tell me that all is not well with her world. I'd take a look, but everything is pitch black outside. The winds are beginning to gust but haven't really picked up yet. I was fishing the internet to see if I could get the low-down on NO, but all of the news stories are a few hours old. Weather.com says this beast is still a cat4 and 85 miles off coast. And the projected path has turned up towards mississippi. That's good news for me. It puts me even more on the west of the storm, which I'm told is less destructive. I guess I should get up and make coffee while the electricity still works.

Lisa is ok. The cats are ok. The house is fine. No power at the house, no internet, and no phone. At work, power and sometimes phone. No internet. FYI
