If it helps, I love you too. No tornados for you. I feel so bad about letting you go into the worse hurricane season in years. We get earthquakes in CA, but we don't have a "season" of disasters. It is probably too late to fly you and the cats back here.
Don't worry so much. I'm prepared as I can be. Except for having an ax if I ever need to chop my way out of the attic.
Really, the only bad thing that is going to happen is if a tree falls through my roof. I'll survive that and the roof can be fixed. Otherwise, I've got oodles of water, 2 weeks worth of food, a full tank of gas, and $400 in cash. Even if rita lands right on top of me, I am going to be just fine. Manon might not suvive tho. She has been meowing non-stop since my co-worker+spouse+cats stayed here the other night. At this rate, she isn't going to live long enough for the hurricane to kill her. Wretched cat.
