me: are you hungry, baby doll? Is it snack time?
DG: (nods head yes)
me: what kind of snack do you want?
DG: uh-huh snack
me: what do you want for snack?
DG: (stares at me and thinks)
plocklate cake
me: chocolate cake? we don't have any chocolate cake.
DG: (stares at me)
me: there is no chocolate cake, baby doll. What else do you want to eat?
DG: plocklate
me: we don't have any chocolate.
DG: cake
me: we don't have any cake. We don't have any cake at all. how about some fruit?
DG: (dead stare)
me: peaches? cherries? grapes?
DG: uh-huh grapes

choice number 1: chocolate cake
choice number 2: chocolate
choice number 3: cake
