Today was a long, gruelling day of housework. I am the only woman in our group. We have a storage area where spare parts get stashed. That area is being reconfigured to share the space with another group and our gack had to be moved. It was so not pretty. Torn boxes of unsorted parts, dead power supplies that just had to be saved, 300 copies of the dell software discs that shipped with a cluster 4 years ago, no labels on any boxes. Today, I jousted windmills, I pulled order from chaos, and I made the room safe for democracy. What a thrill.
