Tommorow we all leave for a week in glamourous Los Angeles. It's very likely this will be our only vacation this year. I need one really badly. J will have to spend some days working, so I won't get out of child care duty. But I will get out of my day job and will hopefully have a slower pace.

Oh, I think you'll find that once little pikachu reaches the age of 2, both of you will have been exposed to every pestilence known to day care centers. Nothing as mundane as a little cold will daunt you after that.

I just saw this -- did we miss you in N. CA or did you stick to S. CA only?

We couldn't manage nor.cal. this trip. J was working at CIT during the week. I guess we are just bad at vacations -- every time we leave town it is because one of us is working.
