On a completely different topic, I have a gift for you. But I have to explain. While I was sick, I was embroidering these little girls doing things (jump rope, swing, bike, hula hoop). They were intended as baby gifts (read bribes) to some of DG's friends' mothers who were having babies. Then I got kind of hooked on doing them. Only, while I was sitting there I kept thinking I should do a goth girl (ala Emily the Strange) and then I started thinking about those posts you made about dying your hair green. (My mind wanders far afield when I sew.) Anyway, I would never have actually gotten past thinking about it if you hadn't sent tea. But I did make you a little green haired hula hoop girl. Because even goth girls need to get their hula on. I had dutifully saved the return address from the box to send this as a surprise, but my spouse threw out the little piece of paper when he quite uncharacteristically cleaned off the table. If you would like me to send this to you, please shoot me your address (lisab@bluesunsa.com). Also, it's just a piece of fabric right now-- about 8" square. I can mount it on a hoop for hanging or I can sew it into something if you prefer. Let me know. :)
